A fast evaporating highly effective aromatic-free blend of solvents designed to quickly clean metering rollers enabling quick restarts. For use on dampening pan and metering rollers in continuous dampening systems, with desensitising action and is specially formulated for quick effective cleaning of UV and Hybrid inks.
Properties
- Fast evaporating—does not leave a greasy residue and enables quicker restarts
- Flashpoint ~32°C
- Highly water miscible
- Suitable for most Nitrile roller qualities and for EPDM based rubber
- VOC = 900grams/litre (100%)
Method of Use
- For manual use with a lint free cloth or sponge. Place press into stationary mode and apply manually onto the dampening rollers, wiping until all ink removed.
- Suitable for most modern day machines including manufacturers such as Heidelberg, KBA, Man Roland, Ryobi, Komori and Mitsubishi presses.
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store solvents safely within the printing environment to allow them to acclimatize to pressroom conditions – working temperatures will affect evaporation speed of solvents and hence can influence their effectiveness. Consult own company risk assessment and fire risk assessment for guidance on suitable storage containers depending on properties of the chemical.
- If left unopened and kept in the correct conditions this product has a recommended shelf life of 12 months.
