In 2026, BFS Pressroom Solutions celebrates 40 years of supporting the UK printing industry.
John Hope launched the business in Reading, Berkshire, in 1986. Originally known as Business Forms Services, the company supplied self-adhesive printing products to business forms and envelope printers across the UK.
From the beginning, BFS focused on quality, reliability and customer service. As a result, the company quickly built a strong reputation within the print industry. This success enabled BFS to expand its product range and develop new areas of expertise.
Growing Through Innovation and Industry Knowledge
Over the past 40 years, BFS Pressroom Solutions has continued to evolve. Today, the company remains family-owned and is led by Robin Hope and the senior management team.

Throughout its history, BFS has developed strong partnerships and expanded its capabilities. For example, the company became the exclusive UK supplier of Rollin blankets. It also acquired Tyke Rollers and later became the sole UK licensee for Westland rollers.
Above all, BFS has always focused on one clear goal: supplying reliable, long-lasting pressroom consumables that help customers improve efficiency, reduce waste and save money.
Manufacturing Expertise Across Rollers, Blankets and Engineering
Today, BFS operates from its Head Office and Haverhill facilities. The team manufactures new, recovered and exchange rollers for the printing industry. In addition, BFS provides precision CNC engineering services and converts a wide range of high-quality printing blankets.
Furthermore, BFS works with carefully selected global manufacturing partners. Through these relationships, the company supplies innovative solutions that complement its own manufacturing expertise.
As a result, customers benefit from a complete range of pressroom consumables, supported by technical knowledge and industry experience.
