Prisco Salt Crystal Remover
offers the most effective means of removing calcium carbonate as well as other salt build ups from ink rollers. To control the cost of paper, modern manufacturers employ higher levels of precipitated calcium carbonate. This material is less stable than traditional fillers and is released more readily causing a build up on rubber inking rollers. This may not even be visible but results in the rollers become hydrophilic. Colour variation and roller stripping occur quickly. Prisco Salt Crystal Remover will keep rollers cleaner, prevent roller stripping and promote more consistent colour.
Prisco Salt Crystal Remover is intended for deep cleaning when there is a visible calcium build up and as the first step of a total maintenance programme.

Directions:
For thorough cleaning, Prisco Salt Crystal Remover is usually best applied by hand to rollers removed from the press. It may also be applied to localised areas of rollers on press, as needed, after regular maintenance.
