ICON Anti Foaming Agent is a highly concentrated solution designed to eliminate excessive aeration in dampening systems, using only low dosages, and is compatible with all fount solutions, as well as being non hazardous to use and easily dispersible.
Properties
- Quick efficient problem solving additive
- Not hazardous for transport (under current relevant EU legislation)
- Easy to use and disperse
- Eliminates micro-foaming and helps prevent aeration in the container through excessive pumping
Method of Use
- Dose typically in increments of 0.1% into the dampening solution
- Stir well into the solution – Ideally use a mechanical stirring device, but more crude equipment can be just as effective
- Maximum dosage of 0.5% is recommended to allow for any application
- Print off trial sheets using modified varnish and test for any post process suitability before committing to a full run
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store between 5-30°C ideally
- Protect from direct sunlight and freezing
- If left unopened and kept in the correct conditions this product has a shelf life of 12 months from D.O.M.
- After opening use up as soon as possible
- Replace lids on containers when coating not in use
