PrintGuardPlus® Anti-Marking Jackets
PrintGuard Plus is a development of the PrintGuard Anti-marking product, which has been improved by adding a silicone coating (which is orange in colour for identity).
This silicone coating improves the anti marking characteristics of the glass bead surface by reducing the amount of ink that touches the surface, thereby reducing further marking.
Ideal for multi unit / perfector presses, as marking tends to increase with the more ink you apply.
Features:
Orange Face
A cross linked silicone coating reduces the surface energy of the PrintGuard glass beaded surface. This means that ink does not want to stick to the Orange Hide surface.
Less ink attraction = less marking = more profit
Microcellular Backing
Patented micro-cellular backing provides a compressible layer that ensures the surface of the glass beads lay perfectly flat and uniform across your entire cylinder, eliminating bubbles, ridges, or voids that can cause marking
Stainless Steel Hardware / Elastic Loops
PrintGuard Plus Anti-Marking Jackets have durable elastic loops resistant to oils and solvents which stretch just the right amount to allow for quick and easy attachment to your Heidelberg transfer cylinder. For SM-52, 74 and 102, stainless steel hardware with brass rivets are affixed to one or both jacket ends for a custom cylinder fit
