Maintenance

It is essential that new rollers are conditioned prior to first use. Please contact BFS for further guidance.
Printing rollers in operation have to be regularly cleaned with appropriate cleaners.
Only use FOGRA approved cleaners suitable for the specific ink, roller system, or automatic washing device.
It is very important to exclusively use media which is suitable for the respective rubber compound and application purpose
Do not use cleaners containing esters or ketones (e.g., ethyl acetate or acetone) on NBR-based rubber rollers.
Avoid aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, xylene, and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Mechanical cleaning (e.g., using sandpaper or a wire brush) is not recommended.

Storage

Store rollers carefully to prevent deformation or mechanical damage. Ideally, they should be kept upright or suspended by their shafts.
Store in a dry, dark place at a stable temperature (recommended: 15–22°C). Using the original UV protection paper
